This stse sbout 2 years back, line one was to noisy to use, moved to line port 008, reprogramm vm etc, etc. Today line 004 lost half co volume. Try to reprogram co volume db, did not help. Moved thie line to co port 007, reproram,reprogram. The system is 4 years old, co and powwer protected. Anyone ealse having trouble with co ports?

I haven't had any. Is it possible some lightning problem could have traveled over the TelCo lines? They typically only use carbon protectors, not gas. -Or- Have you measured the TelCo line voltage and loop current? Running hot could have an adverse effect too.
I had one location with problems. It was literally a stones throw away from the CO. Voltage and loop current looked good, but after the 3rd KSU I installed some loop-current protectors. Have had any more problems in the past couple of years.
One of the first few KSU's I installed had noise on the co line... I have had other systems that high loop current burned out co ports but none so far on STS
