I have a customer with a Starplus STS that is having a problem with what they descibe as noise and feedback in the lines. This comes and goes and can be eliminated with a reboot, but it comes back after a few days and they have to reboot again. They also have trouble getting a line when this happens. Any Ideas on what we could try?

Bad co ports. If it is on the backplane (lines 1 to 4), you could try reseating the cid module. If that doesn't do it...the system is suffering from age most likely.

Thanks, I will try changing the co cards out one at a time and will also reseat the cid module. They had a bad co card and we replaced it a few weeks ago and a week or so after that is when this problem started. I'm thinking we may have been sent a defective co card.
