On our DVX Plus System, Feature package 3: I have programmed a phone in our production department to provide Call Coverage for the front desk. Right now, when a call comes in to the front desk and is not answered, the phone providing Call Coverage will ring once and then go directly to voice mail. I cannot find in our manual how we can change the behavior - we'd like it to ring at least four times before going to voice mail.

ARe you forwarding to the "call coverage" phone or did you create a call coverage key (642 plus extension number)?

I created Call Coverage on the production phone. On our system, it's press the Speed button twice, press the flexible button to be programmed, then 646 plus the extension. Rolls over to the coverage phone OK, but just the one ring and then to voice mail- which isn't long enough for our folks to pick up. Regular calls to the production extension don't have the one ring problem.

Calls that ring to the coverage key should continue to ring on the covered phone as well. Those type of calls should not forward to voice mail unless the covered phone is in a forwarded state,( could be preset) or the co line is preset forwarded. There is something else going on here for sure.
