Trying to find out where the system input for music on hold is and if there are any program codes that need to be changed to activate this feature.

On the right side of the cabinet at the top find a 1/8" mini phono plug (3.5mm) it should be labeled External Music. Plug a music source into this for external music. No programming needed.
