Anyone else have issues with a Talkswitch picking up AM radio? I have a system within 2/3 mile of a transmitter and you can recognize the words while using a TS-100 phone. On regular analog phones connected through it I can hear a bit of static which mimics the words but not the actual voice like on the TS-100 sets. Both Telco and the lines/cables are clean, tested in front and behind and it only happens through the Talkswitch. Centerpointe advised me to wrap the units in tinfoil (shiny side out) which did not work. 25 years doing this stuff, never had someone tell me to use tinfoil before

Thanks in Advance
Jim

Bummer. You are going to ned to ground the system WELL and get some ferrite pluugs for all the handset cords...and that isn't a 100% fix.

Thanks, but unfortunatly been there done that, grounded both units, all phones have filters on handsets, line cords and power cords, even grounded the tin foil when I wrapped them up. Tried other systems in there today, Toshiba Strata and a IP Office and they are both clean all the way to the phones, I asked CenterPointe to replace the units but they refused, making me wonder if they know something about this issue. I was also informed today of 2 other locations previously installed with the same issues

You may want to check the outlet and make sure it has a good ground as well.
