Hello, I am looking for some help with an interesting problem for the Telekol TVM-2000 Voicemail system. The problem is this, for 10 years the Voicemail system was working great and one day after changing out main night greeting message, the system will no long pick up calls after the third ring. It is like our Voicemail system is no longer connected to our phones. I do not know much about phones and the only person in our area that works on phone systems died about 5 years ago. So, any help on re-tethering our phone system to our voicemail system would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email me at [email protected] Will

Welcome You problem is one that should be addressed by a professional and not a question for end user advice.
Above in installers section there are 79 listed in Illinois, I hope someone is close enough to help ,You city looks like its out in the boonies.
also the system the telekol is attached to is relevent in this equation.

Keep in mind you're dealing with a ten year old hard drive.
Telekol's are designed to do a nightly 'sanity check' to verify file integrity. Sometimes they lock up in the middle of this check. They're also programmed to do weekly maintenance early Sunday mornings, and can also lock up, especially if Scan Disk or Defrag finds a problem. Rebooting the voice mail will clear these errors in the short term, but if it happens again and again, it usually indicates a failing hard drive.
After a reboot, try calling the voice mail ports. If it answers, you're golden. If not, you'll need a vendor visit.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
