Currently I have a electra 616 installed with two ksu station cards. When I try to add another station to the system I seem to pop fuses on the cards. I checked the lines as well as the sets and I cant seem to pin point the problem. When the fuses pop on the added extentions, I can get side tone but no dial tone. I cant seem to find out what the problem may be and I hope someone might have the answer

Switch, I just laid hands on an old Electra 616 a couple of weeks ago. All of the older electra series are very picky on how they are wired. Standard wiring/colors will cause a blown fuse every time. Try reversing the power pair.
