Which manual do I use to programm this system? I looked at the NEC manuals at this site and I don't see one for the Electra 8/24. Is there an Electra manual that works but doesn't have 8/24 in it's title?

You have to be kidding, the 824 and 1648 are nowhere close to the same. The only document that will work is the 824.
