How do I get the buttons on a dtu 16d to work as feature buttons. On a pro 1 buttons all work under the four line buttons.
My sys is elite 48 with four line co's. I want the LK5-LK16 to work as feature buttons.
Thanks
Lane

button programming is done via program 4-12

more specifically in 4-12 (on whatever port you're programming) co's 1-4 will be on buttons 1-4. button 5 would be set for fa01 (fa is line key 6, then type in 01 on keypad). the feature access buttons will have to be different numbers. so button 6 would be fa02 and so on.

i think that a 48 will only let you have 10 or 12 feature access buttons at any one time on a phone (with the exception of a 32 button phone)

as a side note:

there are some buttons that can be set as hard buttons. like dnd, mic, etc. this is also in program 4-12

and if you want a night mode on a button there are 2 different ways to do that as well (let me know if you need that)

voicemail, speed dials, dss, redial, night, live record, and alot of other things are all feature access
