I HAVE A CUSTOMER WITH AN ISSUE ON THE CALLER ID. WHEN THE CALL IS TRANSFER FROM AUTOMATED ATTENDENT ON EXTENSION 300 THEY CAN NOT VIEW THE CALLER INFORMATION BUT WHEN THEY LIFT THE HAND SET THE CALLER ID INFO APPEARS. BUT ON EVERY EXTENSION IT WORKS FINE. CAN SOME ONE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE. THANKS! ------------------ [email protected]

Screened Transfers ring like Intercom calls and do not display Caller ID until the call is answered. With Unscreened Transfer, calls from the Automated Attendant ring like other transferred calls and display the incoming Caller ID data (if provided by telco and enabled in programming). The only thing is when you change your Dial action table (program 8008) to unscreened transfer you lose ringing line preference. you will have to press the line/loop key to answer.
