Hi guys,
I'm doing my last lot of testing down here before we release the IPK2 system. I have one concern regarding the latest U34 type of Elite VMS. The DOS ones. If the mail is in and running and the system has the power turned off. When the system power is turned on the VMS runs up before the CPU puts the ports online giving a voicemail port error message and the mail can not be used. If at this point the mail is removed and pluged in hot (a no no ) and turned on, the mail runs up fine.
Has any one there found this a problem??

Yes, we've had this issue. It's a CPU problem, not the VM. I don't know if the new rev 1.15 fixes this issue.

Thanx. I figured it was a CPU problem but am having a hard job convincing NEC in Oz of this..
Has this been a service pain in the neck issue yet..??
