We have three phone lines coming into our Electra Elite 48 (SP013 V3.11) with an Elite mail. The way it's setup now is that all incoming calls get one greeting. We have 6 extensions with voice mail setup on all. 1 - How can I set the voice mail to have different greetings for different phone lines? And to leave messages at different extensions. a. CO LINE 01 to hear greeting from extention 101, and to be able to leave a message at Ext. 101 b. CO LINE 02 to hear greeting from extension 102, and to be able to leave a message at Ext. 102 c. CO LINE 03 to hear greeting from extension 103, and to be able to leave a message at Ext. 103 FYI: They are not private phones. Therefore all exentions should ring and be able to answer when a call comes from any of the phone lines.

The most easiest way is to make the lines DIT to the extention and let the call Forward Busy no answer take the call to the mailbox of that extention.

As for Ringing make a SIE key that rings of each phone on each phone.

This can be done by setting up Trunk Mapping in the Voicemail, Using transaction boxes, and setting DIT delayed ringing to the V mail.
Check with your NEC Dealer as this can be quite involved unless you are familiar with the system.

No tech is available where I am. I have to do it myself.
Can this be done from admin's display phone? Or do I have to go through VM's cosessions software. If that's the case I'm in trouble. My disk is corrupted and I can't install it on the laptop. And I don't know where to get it from! :bang:

The Voicemail programming does require cosessions. Cosessions is a copyrighted product so as a dealer I can not give it away. Go to the NEC website www.necunified .com and use the pulldown tab for sales and delect find a dealer. The dealer nearest to you can sell a new copy to you.

Is the hunting set by the NEC box or the phone company?

I have created CAR extensions and DIT the Lines to the CAR extension and then forward the CAR to voicemail. I also have created different mailboxes for each CAR extension.
At the moment, when a call comes in, SIE button flash red on all stations and after a 12s delay, it goes to it's mailbox. But no audible ring!
How do I get the physical telephones to ring when a call comes in?

MB 4-37 sets day ring & MB 4-38 sets night ring. Light the button on the port for which ringing is assigned.

At the moment keys are programmed as follow: Port 29=351 FEATURE LK5=SIE 351 FEATURE LK1=DIT/ANA MODE 01 In MB 4-37 and MB 4-38, LK5 is set to green for port 29.
With the above: When a call comes in on CO LINE 01, I get flashing red on LK5 and solid red on LK1.

In MB 4-37 and MB 4-38, LK5 should be set to green for each physical telephone port not the virtual port 29. Issue solved. Thanks DrPbx
