Need a heads up on setting up a dterm phone on an Neax 2000 to work with a headset. I know there is a modular plug, but when plugged in it doen'st work with or without the handset in the cradle. I am assuming something needs to be programmend?

In Programming you can insert one of the buttons on the dterm phone to switch from handset to headset.

Command 9000>ext#,button#>F1090

I have to agree with Zrhedd.

I often use button 95, which has little functionality otherwise.

BTW, this is probably obvious, but the modular headset cord should go into the jack marked "headset," not the handset jack. People often make that mistake.

Yes I am trying to find a manual on this thing but they are hard to come by. The sites I currently get manuals from don't have them.

Anyone know of a source for the NEAX2000 IPS manual?

Yup it's in the correct jack, it also works just fine when plugged into the handset jack.....

There's a link at the top of the page. I'd start there.

Been there tried them.......Does the NEAX2000 program like some other models so that the programming may be the same?

The IPS is the latest in a long line of systems that use the same basic command sequence. So if you can't get an IPS manual you can step back a generation and for all the basic programming the command manual for that will be adequate. In this case use the IVS manual which is commonly available. However from your posts I am wondering if you have ever done any programming?

Do you know how to get into CAT mode and do you know the password for the system?
