I looked through the hardware manual and cannot find the pinouts for the db9 to mod end adapter for the SMDR output. Does anyone have that?
The adapter I ordered from NEC came with the pins out.
Thanks!!

I found the pin outs for the SMDR DB9 to mod end for the DS2000. Anyone know if it is the same for the DSX?

Hi guys. I found the pin outs. I just wasnt' looking close enough and at 39 my eye sight first thing in the morning is not great!
www.necsdx.com says to use a standard 6 pin line cord to connect to the SMDR. The link to the other forum says that I need to reverse this cord. Is this true? Thanks, John

Standard cords 2, 4, and 6 pin cords - reverse. Take a look at one that works, But I Have seen them Straight Thru too, they wont work. I just want to make sure that he gets it right the first time wink .
