Got a customer who has all IP phones at a remote warehouse. NO analog stuff insight, no COs coming in. Nothing but 6 IP Phones.
They can't hear the phone ring and are asking for an external ringer for the IP phone.
No luck right? Nothing they can do?

A fix in the past was to tap into the speaker leads & connect them to a paging system. I have not tried this on IP phones, only TDM phones.

I checked the docs for IPK I & II & APR-U's are not supported by ITH terminals...you might have to try Dr Pbx's suggestion...

There are several IP Paging options out there. We use the Valcom VIP-800 to broadcast paging, however it could be modified to broadcast an alert tone on an incoming call to your remote site.
