I'm in the process of making a cutover handout sheet with common user instructions recently asked on cuts to save my back,sanity and time reexplaining these features in the user guides.They can read other features in user guides ,most people dont want or wont take training and are the biggest complainers.
I figured I could staple this to their forehead or hand.
I'm including:
1- entering personal speed dial.
2-transfer a call / transfer direct to mailbox.
3- page over telephones .
4- leave a message in cowokers mailbox.
5- call your mailbox internally /from external location.
6- conference
any others ?? suggested

your Cell number  Ive found I need to point the display prompts out to the customers they really help once they realize that they're there I try to find the Office "techie" and give them in depth instructions hoping they will pass some of it along

Ken, I have a master training sheet for the DSX set up if you'd like to take a look at it. It probably covers more than you'll want to use, but I just edit out the parts that aren't needed on a per-customer basis. I'll just need to send it as an attachment. Let me know and I'll look up your email address somewhere.
