We have an NEC Aspire and one of the phones has a message on it saying MSG >>> 463
I'm not sure what this means or how to get ride of it. I have tried to cancel like i would cancel a call forward with no success. Can some one help. This is on the 22 button NEC aspire phone. It is right across the middle.

The station user has inadvertantly dialed the "Message Waiting" feature. This usually occurs when a user forgets to access an outside line before dialing a number. Most likely the user started dialing 463-0xxx. What actually happened is they dialed extension 463, then 0 which sets the message waiting notification.
To erase all message notifications from that phone...press [SPEAKER], dial 873, press [SPEAKER]

If they don't use that feature for anything I tend to disable it in class of service.
