I cut over an 80 about 2 months ago with up dated software and pro mail . 2- mail boxes went to e-mail .One to Aol and one to cable co both worked fine until this week and stopped. cable from box to server in and ok.
Any ideas why it stopped working.

Hook your laptop to that cable and see if you can access the ISP Internet. (A nice way of asking if they paid their bill....) Or did someone change the server settings and you aren't getting an IP address? Oh, the Darkside calls....... :rofl:

It's possible that the SMTP settings are no longer supported by the ISP. For example they may have stopped allowing non-encrypted connections.
Open up the SysAdmin and try the SMTP Test Settings option.
The result should tell you if connection to the SMTP server is successful, and if not it should indicate the possible reasons why,

Follow up : Dialed in remotely did a SMTP test that came back "Send failed no ethernet connection" Pushed customer "did he change anything" ,He finally said he tried to add a new computer. I asked him to check our cat5 from basement to server said it was plugged in.
Then a MIRACLE happened ,the voicemail started to go to his e-mail.
