Hi We have a NEC Professional Level II (level 2) Advanced phone system.
Currently we are using internal music patterns ("let it be")
We know how to change the internal pattern by going to LK1-LK8-09 and then choosing one of the 4 selections. (Memory block 1-8-09).
But we have hooked an external music on hold to the RCA jack and we cannot figure out how to change to external music source instead of internal music source.
Can someone please help us out?

There is a switch on the CPU card that changes from internal to external MOH.

The switch is located near the bottom of the CPU card, between the MOH input jack and the MOH volume POT. It's small !! If it is playing internal music, then the slide switch is forward (toward front edge of card). To switch to external music, slide switch to rear position.
