Has anyone else had this problem? When I try to connect to an SV8100 using PC Pro it says can't find network. However if I use Web Pro I get in every time. Also when I ping it, I get a response.
Thank you in advance.

You using the default IP address of 192.168.0.10??

I and others have the same problem. Problem gets solved if you change it to 172.16.0.9. and sub net of 255.255.0.0.. Have reported this to NEC but I don't expect much to happen..

I'm using the SV8100 PC Pro. I haven't had a chance to try using the 172.6.0.9 yet. Should I be able to connect using PC Pro for the IPK II?

No, I was just checking the usual suspects...

However, I understand that 8100 PCPro is backwards compatiple with the IPK II, but, I have'nt tried it yet.

It is backward compatable but way slower on the IPK2 due to the error checking that IPK2 PCPro didn't have.

As you said you can "ping" the SV8100 ... I have found if you get that error (cant find the network ) if you "ping" the SV8100 then straight away connect using PC Pro it works. It almost seems that an ICMP packet wakes the ethernet interface up??? bug .. I think so... Also with the backward capability I have found if you don't first open an IPKII default ( or other ) database first SV8100 PC Pro seems to crash... maybe it is just my PC ...
