Are the NEC DTR-?D and DTH-?D phones interchangeable?

I have an Elite IPK system with DTH-16D and DTH-8D phones. I found a good price on some used DTR-16D phones, but haven't been able to tell if they are compatible or not.

Does anyone know if these DTR phones will work?

Thanks,

MT

Yes, they will work. Watch out for phones with serial numbers where the last digit is 'E' or lower. They had issues.

DTR sets will work on the IPK.

Just for reference, DTH sets will not work on the IVS2000.

If you are buying these sets off the internet & not from a NEC associate, then buyer beware...
