We have NEC Dterm IPK phones. One of our phones only goes to voice mail when you dial the extension. I have already checked to make sure that the DND and call fowarding is off but it still only goes straight to voicemail. I have also unpluged and pluged the phone back in several times. Any suggestions on what is wrong??

When you dial through VM or if you dial it on ICM? You also tried Speaker 42?

When you call through our automated system and dial the extension it takes you straight to voicemail when it's suppoed to ring through to the phone.

What's speaker 42?

Is transfer set to "no" in the voicemail box for this extension?

Logon to that mail box, go into personal settings, call tranfer to your work phone,make sure its set to on.

Call the Voice Mail from the Phone that won't ring.

I have done that several times and it doesn't give me any option for personal settings. It only gives me message options.

Do you get an option for setup? If so, go in there then go to transfer & delivery, then go to transfer. Set it for transfer & enter the extension number.

What kind of phone & voice mail system do you have btw?

I push the message button and it takes me to my mailbox and then I hit 0 for the main menu and it only gives me options to listen to messages, record a greeting and then mail box options.I have gone to the mailbox options and it only gives me options on changing the time stamp and notifications. Am I not doing something right??
