Hello,

We currently purchased and had installed a UX5000 specifically for the Mobile Extension feature.

One of the issues we have is that the delay between calling the Mobile Extension is not consistent (even if the cell user is standing in the same place).

Also, we would like the ability to call a line (to an actual NEC local phone) and have it ring that phone and the mobile extension simultaneously).

Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

I should also note that we have an E&M T1 as opposed to a PRI.

I am not sure if this will make the signaling slower.

Big time. Generally you always want PRI or SIP or something that is MUCH faster than a T1. Remember, T1's still have to use DTMF signaling.
