I have a key voice system on a fujitsu starlog phone system and they are having intermittant cut off problems. We have checked the seconds of silence and seconds of noise settings and problems still persist. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

According to Comdial Seconds of silence should be set to 10 and seconds of non silence set to 99.
In COS for the MB's make sure the maximum recording time is set to an appropriate length for your customer, default is 60 secs.
Beyond that the only thing that makes these systems go screwy is if it's used heavily it needs to defrag more then once a week. If you need to set that up post again, I'll have to pull my notes.

Are they getting cut off or Talk off. Talk off is when the system thinks your done and comes back with a message giving you options to send the message. Cut off is just that, the system cuts completely off. is it one person.... give us a bit more info.

I think your talking about getting cut off while leaving a message in a mailbox right?
I would want to know what the caller hears, key voice always plays some prompt before dropping a call, the prompt could be your clue as to what the system thinks it's supposed to do. I've seen systems think they hear a DTMF digit when a person, usually a women, has a certain pitch to her voice. The Voy sys system had that issue. Also make sure these are not cellular callers.
