there is a programming sequence to change some files on the keyvoice so it doesn't say the annoying "good morning"... or "good afternoon" before it plays the main greeting. Does anyone have this document. I can't seem to find it anymore.

I'm guessing you can't access Comdial's dealer site, because it is on there: VVP000018.pdf under Interchange FAQs/Tech Tips. Email me if you still can't get to it, and I'll get it to you.

Just rerecord the good morning, afternoon, and evening messages ans a real quick blank message.
That's what I do with the VoiceGates.
It actually will still play but it would only be a quarter of a second of silence and would not be noticed.

Another way to do it, in addition to the way explained in the Tech Tip from Comdial, is to copy c:\vm\p\onesilnc.voi to the three prompt files. Although this will add an additional second (of silence)before the main greeting plays, it does get the job done. Also, doing it this way makes sure that one second is clean sounding.
