I just lost the Hardrive on an Iwatsu Adix in a school we have installed a new drive with Amanda software 6.28
Every thing seems to work properly except when a call gets transfer from the Auto Attendant on a RNA the call never ends up in the called user mailbox but returns to mb 990 we have work with the integration and the timers but still cant seem to get the right fix
The Iwatsu seems to have software 6.23
Any Ideas would be apprecialed

What kind of voice mail system did you have before- Telekol, Octel? What sort of things have you done with the integration? What type of transfer from the auto attendant are you trying to do- supervised or unsupervised?
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

It sounds as if there is no integration being sent with the RNA. Either that or the integration timer in the Amanda needs to be adjusted.

Are you hearing tones on the port when you butt up to it? Have you confirmed integration patterns match what the Adix is sending out? Sometimes you need to add a sec of silence on inband if vm is slow to hear tone when it comes offhook.
Do you have any testing equipment to see what is being sent/what is being expected.
I remember a test sequence something like CNTRL HOME + ALT T to open up a diagnostic page on the vm. It would show DTMF received or sent. It was not a documented feature.

You lost a drive on the Iwatsu phones or the Amanda voice mail?
If it was the Amanda you would have reinstalled the Amanda software and would have to set it up again and run the integration programs. Or put the codes in manually.
All integration wizards are built in Amanda WG
Look in the manual Chapter 3, Defining Dial Codes.
Chapter 4 Defining Integration Patterns.
And Chapter 6 Defining tone Patterns.
