I was in the old Comdial building yesterday in Charlottesville Virginia. Wow have things changed, it's big and empty. The new owner is dividing it up into a lot of small offices and warehouses. We put in a small call center for a mail-order company. It is a Samsung iDCS-100, in the Comdial building!
We hope to put alot of Samsung swithes in there. Who would of thought that would happen.

Yep, its been about a year since I was in the building.

I could not believe how much room was there and Comdial was scrunched into this small little space in the center for the call center area. (well what was left of the call center in Va.)

I was by there last weekend and noticed the Comdial sign was still out, along with the "space for rent" sign. I thought Comdial was long gone from there and I expected to see a King Tech sign, but I guess they have everything in TN. now.

I think the new owner keeps the sigh out because of new sign laws in Charlottesville, once it's gone he can't put a new one that close to the road but he can change the existing one. King was in Earlysville Virginia but moved out in May of 2003 and took everything to Tenn. The old Comdial employees that thought they had a second chance were let go again. When do you get to virginia, maybe we could meet. I go to Pa. alot. I was in New Oxford this past week-end and I am a vendor at the Carlisle spring and Ford shows.

We go to Va. to ride motorcycle back and forth over the mountains around Chatam, Charlottesville and the like. We usually go once a summer usually in June for 4 or 5 days. We just got back Monday night.
New Oxford is 1 and a half hrs. west from me. I'm right off rt.30 just east of Lancaster, Pa. I really like your area of Va., some of the best motorcycling roads anywhere and good people. I'll let you know when we're passing through again.
When we go to Carlyle, we go for the Chevy shows. We have a 67 Camaro RS convertable.

OH NO! a Chevy man. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com] LOL
I like them too, my sister has a 67 camaro convertable but not an RS or a V8 just a little 6 cyl. I still have my motorcycle licence but don't have a bike anymore, I need to fix that.
The Comdial sign was changed in the last two days to Seminole Properties I went but there at lunch time.
