I don't know if this topic has ever been posted before (im fairly new to this forum)-- Have you had any installations that were disgusting (like dead rats), strange, difficult and obsurd and what were they like?

Nearly two decades ago I was putting in Mitel switches in SRO apartment buildings in the city. For those who dont know what an SRO is, its a 'single resident occupancy'- basically a flop-house for the poor, mentally ill, etc. We'd have to get into each apartment to change out the spade lug terminal jack with a modular RJ11. You can only imagine what we saw (naked people you really don't want to see naked, a dead body, cockroaches, crazy lunatics, and more). Ahh the good ol' days.

Wow, you say a dead body, haha, not an average phone system installation huh? Yeah, I figured any type of institution having to do with the mentally ill would probably be pretty strange.
