Do you use your punch down tool with your left hand or right???

Also, do you punch down cable from the top down or bottom to top.....

Also, do you wrap all the cables onto the pins first and then punch down or wrap each color binder and then punch down.....

This is another important survey conducted by Mitch.......results will mean nothing....just killing time till happy hour begins......

Right

Top down, but I have at least a foot of cable below the block and I hold it in my left hand with lite pressure to get the pairs out of the way while punching. Which is the same reason some people go bottom up...sorry Mitch thought I need the disclaimer.

Wrap all than punch

lay in bottom to top, punch down top to bottom.

I always bury a service loop behind the block!

Top down ~v~ bottom up...doesn't matter as long as there in the correct order.
and I sit not lay down when happy hour comes. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

Lay in bottom up, punch top down, discover you screwed up, piss and moan about it, repeat. Why wait for happy hour? - its 5 o'clock somewhere...
