Hey gang,

Well, with alot of people(myself not included)having cameras on their cell phones nowadays...I figure it would be convenient & cool if we started taking photos of the best and worst backboards/telco rooms/data racks..etc. and start posting them here. We've all probably come across some pathetic installs/spaghetti messes'. I myself just got a pretty decent digi camera so I plan on stashing it in the glove box to have handy for those 'kodak telco moments'!
I can think of one particular customers backboard now...just how to convince him to let me back there to take a photo.. [Linked Image from day.az]

NEC search for systems, cards, phones, software, manuals and repairs!

OK, I'll go first! This is what happens when a doctor lets his electrician run the wire and then has his ARNP terminated it and install the phone/data equipment. He later hired us to clean it up. It was late in the evening when we got finished and I forgot to take an after picture.

Here is a pic of my setup at home.

Incoming line is terminated to the block on the left. Cross connects go from there to the station block (middle). Right block is the cables from the Axxess. Bottom left is feed cables to my rack. Bottom middle block is just taking up space smile
Axxxes has 1 DKSC, 1 LSC, 1 SLC, 1 CPU v4.3

Well, I'm a little embarressed about the way mine looks right now, but since Jeff started it this is the system at my house:

The system is a Axxess 128. The T-1 feeds into an IAD. The two computers are part of the sytem. The black box is a battery back up. The Oaisys NetServer sits off to one side so it's not in the pic. The room is an air-conditioned loft.

Internet Access Device. Basically a router that seperates the analog lines and data feed. The IAD is the white box right below the Axxess and directly above my TDR sitting on the floor.

The black box is the battery back up. The white one is the Axxessory Talk (8 port), the blue box on the left is the programming computer and also runs the on hold music and sends out the Voice Mails in .wav format to my cell phone so I don't have to call in to check them as I HATE checking VM, (that's what the linksys box is for on the desk).

Then just to the left of that (not pictured) is the Oaisys NetServer (Still playing with that one, but so far it's a lot of fun.)

So Jeff, seeing that you're an Axxess guy, how come we never see you helping out in the Inter-Tel forum
