What's the deal? Is it so hard to figure out if he has taken, or is taking, steroids?

I really could care less if he's on steroids or not. I'm not impressed with any of today's sports figures...Except maybe Tiger Woods.
I think any professional baseball player (making what they do)should be able to knock the ball out of the park on any given day..with or with-out steroids.
Professional sports figures aren't what they usta be.

It's really a shame that these thugs turned millionaires find themselves to be above the law.

My 16 year-old son has been extremely active in sports, primarily soccer all of his life. He's even on a traveling team now.

I'll never forget the first time that I scored some free seats at a Redskins game. When I told him, he declined the invitation. He said "Dad, pro football players are nothing but a bunch of drug users throwing a ball. Thanks, but I'll pass."

Not exactly in those words, but you get the message. I love watching the NFL and going to their games, but I think that after this coming season, I may have a change of heart. I am tired of paying $100.00 a seat, plus $35.00 for a parking permit only to be gouged once I get inside. You know, $7.00 warm beers, $5.00 bottles of warm water, $6.00 hot (cold) dogs, and here's the kicker: $9.50 for three chicken tenders and a sampling of french fries. All served with the appropriate ghetto attitude. My patience is just about spent on professional sports of any kind.

I'd rather spend my hard-earned money where it's appreciated. One way to do this is take what I would have spent going to an NFL game and sponsoring a local kids' sports team. They deserve it a lot more.

A bunch of overpaid thugs with big heads, drug habits, lawlessness and attitudes don't deserve our money. What kind of example are we setting for our kids in continuing to tolerate these issues? Our kids deserve better.

Sorry for the rant and please feel free to edit if anyone feels that I have stepped over the line with my opinions.

Just finished watching the Georgia VS. Alabama little league playoff. Best game I have seen in years. A team jumps on another 8-1 and you figure its over. No steroid competition at its best. Put your money and time on the little guys..with a little luck they'll change the face of pro sports.

Barry Bonds.... (sound of one hand clapping).

Ed our loss is your gain (or is it?). Our beloved Montreal Expos, destroyed by greed, are now the Washington Nationals and they are still losing. I remember going to Expo games and sitting in the bleachers for $1.00.

You did spin up a bit on that. No problem.

Still, my question hangs up there like a sweet fast ball ... waiting for someone to hit it out of the park.... Is it so hard to figure out if he has taken, or is taking, steroids?

BTW Since we're on the subject of sports. I came up with this little bit of humor yesterday. What do you call a really good black quarterback, fullback and tailback? ... All Bro back field .... get it? I tried it on my black friends at work and they thought it was funny, so it's been cleared, none of you claiming it's somehow racially insensitive.

In most of today's Professional Sports. (I used the word 'most' because not all sports fall under this and golf might be the only one that isn't)
Anyway the word "Professional" needs to be removed and pay adjusted accordingly. A bunch a over paid Prima Donna's
