I don't know about on-line, but I get my shirts all done locally.

I have a client who is on social aid (welfare) and she makes them as I want I need to either pay off her bills or get ahead for the next time she need my help with her phones or PC.

Just before Xmas last year, I gave her a fairly large cash advance to make some as she had the time. Worked out great for both...she got Xmas money & I got the expense I needed for lastb year's taxes.

I bet there's bound to be someone in your area that needs the extra money & will make them to order.

Kumba, you are in Florida, try the pro shop at the local golf course. They get their shirts somewhere. And a LOT of "more mature and full figured" guys play golf!!!

KLD: Hahahaha... quit sweet talking me, i'm just big boned.

You know us VoIP guys, we try to do everything on the internet smile

I haven't looked anywhere locally yet, just decided that I would get some shirts made with my logo/name on it. Tired of showing up as the "Phone Guy" (yes, the clients use that term loosely). BTW, I just decided that today over dinner with an old buddy. He thought it would be a good idea if I had a sort of uniform look when I show up. The golf-shirt/polo is for the decision makers, and the t-shirts are when i'm doing real work.

Unless it costs some exuberant amount of money, it's worthwhile I think smile

Golf/polo shirts have no pockets....decision makers, indeed. No place for pens, paper, slide rule, cigars, or......

T-shirts are for workers.....I wear a blue, two-pocket uniform like the fire/police wear. File cabinet, cash register, tool holder, trash can, whatever.

When I want to disappear, I don't drive the pickup, don't wear the blue shirt, no one knows me.

I had a few shirts made for me by a sporting goods store. The owner is a coach at my high school and he gave me a good deal. This was a few years ago and they are stained, so I need to get some more made. I couldn't get ahold of him this past summer. I checked some other places that do embroidery, and the one problem is that just about everyone has a minimum order of shirts. I only needed a few.

I've been getting shirts from LL Bean and they do the embroidery for a reasonable price.(I only have name no logo) The double pocket shirt I get maybe a little heavy for your area but they have others.

C'mon, Isn't MacDill AFB at Tampa? Always embroidery places off-base for misc. names and special patches. Let's see, If I remember correctly, Dale Mabry (?) BLVD. And does the base still have those signs on waters edge saying "Avoid All Contact, Do Not Eat Fish Taken From These Waters" ? That was in '68 when I went to Land-Mass Simulator School for F-4 Simulators. Broke my heart, AF sent me TDY to Florida Jan, Feb, Mar. Missed the Ice storm that REALLY shut down Seymour-Johnson AFB for several days. Even better, Pueblo Crisis happened and since I was already TDY to Florida, the extra bodies needed for deployment of 4th TAC Fighter Wing to S. Korea didn't include me! smile John C. (Not Garand)
