Heard it a couple of times B/4. Always thought that I'd just LOVE to see the look on that telemarketer's face, wouldn't you? Wonder if he still does that kind of work.

My wife actually sent that to me a while back and I was looking for the e-mail again so I could put it in 1 of my guest mail boxes to play for telemarketers so that for passing this on it is great

LOL nice.

I have a buddy who was getting a lot of calls from a blaster with the "You have one a free prize! Call 800-blahblah" messages and they wouldn't put him on their DNC list (if they even had one). Finally he took 3 of his 26 T1's, loaded their phone number (the 800-number) into asterisk, and started blasting their 800-number and dumping them all into a conference. He would sit there on the phone connected to the conference and listen to all their agents go "What? who? Why are you in here? Hey This is my call!". He spoofed the outbound CID to be all the numbers of the attorney general offices around the country. Great stuff, I wish he had recorded it.

I used to play with those folks that called asking for the person responsible for choosing long distance - I'd immediately reply:
That would be me, but I've drinking and can't make any important decisions right now...
or my favorite:
I'm sorry, but we don't have a phone.

Was at an office today setting up another tenant on their system and a telemarketer called up.

He asked the guy if the owner "Sir Blah Blah" was there. The guy replied that the company was sold and that "Sir Blah Blah" no longer worked there. So the telemarketer asked him who the new owner was. He tells the telemarketer that the new owners name is "Sir Blah". The guy then proceeds to ask the telemarketer what it was about and got this answer: "I cant tell you that sir, it's regarding a personal matter". The guy on the phone, being sharp, asks the telemarketer "Well how can it be of a personal nature when you didn't even know who owned this company?" and hung up.

Got to love playing with telemarketers laugh

Reminds me of the call I got from a couple of teenage girls who thought I had no clue that they were next door! 20+ years ago, don't do this today, unless you have lots of bail $. Asked me what I was doing and I indicated that my wife and I were trying to get ahold of our favorite 3rd member for our Friday nite threesome. smile (Stutter) Then they asked what we were going to do and I suggested that we might be willing to teach them a few things, IF they were at least 12! ( smile ) (Stutter again) They wanted details, so I suggested that what was planned was better explained by my wife. (Click) Funny thing, next door neighbor girl was afraid to babysit for several months! smile I probably should mention that I would not have, nor would I ever in the future, take part in this sort of activity. People like that are too wierd and strange for me to know! And I have no use for that sort of person! But it was fun imagining the look on their faces, after finally figuring out who had been harrassing us every evening, all that summer! John C. (Not Garand)
