They say in Maine if you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes but this is ridiculous. Yesterday was in the 90's today at 11am its still in the low 60's frown wheres my great fall weather we usually have

Maybe way north FL Jeff. At 4 am Sat morning it was 78 here. I was headed out in the boat and even the breeze was warm.

Your friend must have been referring to the average speed in a 35MPH zone.

We have been in the 90 to 100 range now for the last 2 months.

There may have been 3 drops of rain in the same time period. So we are bracing for a very bad fall wild fire season. I think I have mowed my lawn maybe 8 or 10 times this year. It's brown and mostly dirt now.

The local car washes have been shut down for weeks now due to water a water shortage. I haven't seen it this dry here since back in the mid 90's.

Yeah, and to think the wife and I were going to the beach tonight. I forgot to check the weather, and just go last night instead. I guess it's to be expected around here. Still, the temperature differences from one day, to the other always surprises me around this time of the year. One good thing was the bit of rain we got, at least here in southern Maine. My lawn has been pretty thirsty from the lack of it.

I wonder if it'll snow tomorrow...
