I have a no616 at my office and i'am in need of a user's manual and installation and setup manual,and if any one can answer a few questions does the NO616 have the abilty to have a voice mail system added to it? One that if the person the receptionist is trying to get a hold of is on thier line she could transfer the the call to that person's voice mail? Also does the NO616 have the capabilty to take a incoming call to receptionist and transfer it to a mobile phone number of person the caller is trying reach

The NO616 or XE/XL systems as we call it doesn't support VMS, You can however have the local co provider set up voice mail on your lines, give them a call and see if they have some kind of package that will work for your needs.

You can use Centrex features on your lines to trans to a mobile phone but the system will not do it by itself, it will have to be done by a user that is answering the line.

That system you are talking about came out about 1991 and is pretty limited
