How do you all track you work orders? We have tons of paperwork and would like to simplify somehow. What software or hardware is out there for this stuff. Especially when more than one tech is onsite. (not sure which forum to post this)

Probably get more results in Installers. Do a search, I believe this has been discussed B/4.

Emmitt,

QuickBooks Pro is a favorite. You can track multiple techs hours used at a site etc. It will also handle inventory management, tax preparedness, and my accountant also has it, so I just bring him a disk at year's end.

it's all tip and ring

If it was built in the last 10 years don't expect it to work right.

Merritt....I believe the "OLD" Pro version did all this, but since they revamped the series & came out with the "Contractor" series, it only the contractor's now. You can verify on their web site.

I haven't needed any of that, so I still have the old "Basic" model which is about equivalent to the Pro nowadays.
