I'm familiar with programming my executech 616k tan cabinet system. However I forgot how to set-up a simply (if there is such a thing on an executech) deny table.
All I want to do is deny international calls on all lines (1-6) and all phones ie. prefix 011
So if anyone can help, how do I set up the deny table and how do I select it.

The early executech models did not have allow/deny tables like the newer XE series. You could only restrict 0xxx or 1xxx. From ext-10 enter I*746* Press 4 (toll restrict) Press line key Do these two steps for each line Press * to finish monitor to end. Now the stations. Enter I*746* dial station number Press 0 (toll restrict 0xx dialing) Press * to finish monitor to end Repeat for each station. This should restrict 011 dialing

I'm sorry JW but I have to disagree, you can set up toll tables on the 616-616B-816. They have both Deny and Allow tables. You would use Memory Buttons 1-8 for the tables and Memory Buttons 9-12 for the Entry. Key Pad [2] for Allow and [3] for Deny
The 308 and 824 only had 0 and 1 Toll restriction.

I hear ya JW, for some reason they didn't give Toll Tables to that system, That's Comdial for ya. Why on earth would they give it to the others and not that one is beyond me. Anybody could have made the same mistake. After all it was like 15 years ago

You are right about not working. The procedure I gave you was incorrect. Try this one from the 0616X,0816X manual. Enter base level program as before. Press the A1 button for toll table 1. (top left) Press 3 for deny Press A9 button. (second button from top right) Dial 011 Press * and monitor to end Enter base level (restriction to lines) Press line key for the first line Press the first line key to restrict Press A1 for restriction Press second line key to restrict Press A1 for restriction Repeat this procedure until all lines are done. Press * and monitor to end. Enter base level program (restriction to stations) Dial first station to program. Press A1 for restrriction Press * Dial second station Press A1 for restriction Press * Repeat these last 2 steps until all stations are assigned. Press * and monitor to end.
