Can't seem to install software, not sure if i am doing it right. Getting a write error?
Is it possible to use hyperterminal if so what are the settings?

Is this a problem installing software, or problem connecting to and sending programming to a system? If you are having problems sending programming to or receiving programming from a system, it is likely that the PCDBA program you are using is not the same version as the system's firmware. Check the system's firmware on the CPM board. There are two firmware chips that should say something like F24, F25, F28, C28, F32, or A33. There are some exceptions, but your PCDBA version should match the firmware version.

tring to install from floppy disk that came with system. I understand now that you have to go through comdial's website, is this true?
