Merger

At least it will make the Sprint/Nextel merger look not so bad. Plus it's one less car company for the government to buy.

NEC search for systems, cards, phones, software, manuals and repairs!

Seems like we as a country are paving the way to socialism. All the government has to do is forget the "We the people" part. frown John C.

GM and Ford were in talks prior to considering Chrysler. All three American auto makers are reportedly dealing with huge losses of market share.

Ya know, although it will REALLY hurt our economy, maybe it's about time they got their come-uppance for killing the TUCKER. The vehicle was, as hindsight has shown, 10-30 years ahead of the big three. Any wonder they did some SERIOUS behind the scenes finagling with Tucker's plant, materials sources, and financial backing? Oh well, they only got fined $2 for using National City Lines to kill the finest transportation systems in the world. (The streetcars, for those of you that are too young to remember.) They'll probably get bailed out by the government, that's you and me and every other taxpayer in the country. John C.

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm going to buy some GM shares myself.

Hmmmmmm

I don't think I'd buy anything till we see what happens this week.

Then again, it's the curse of my family to buy high and sell low.

But me, I wouldn't buy a thing until the market steadies (whatever that means) for at least a week. The government is still coming up with many new and interesting ways to drive it down.

My take on it is.
GM is currenty under 5 bucks a share. A stock that has been around the 50 dollar mark in the last 52 weeks. The US goverment is not going to watch GM go down in flames (IMO).
So now is a time to buy.

I may lose my butt, but it won't be the first time........ smile

How does a merger of two companies have anything to do with socialism?
