"Weeks to plan and execute.... the theft of 500K worth of copper wire and 18,000 feet of conduit."

Maybe it's just me, but I'd of thought somebody might of noticed a backhoe digging up and ripping out 18,000 feet of wire/conduit and thought "hmmmm, that sure seems strange. Maybe I should see what this is all about".

Oh wait a minute. I forgot I'm in Kansas City.

I think with a little writing work, something with a wacky romance between the mastermind of the group, and a woman who finds out about the upcoming heist (something along the lines of the relationship in "Romancing the stone"); maybe throw in a rag tag street kid who always has a smart aleck response at the proper moment, and a few lovable dogs that help sniff out the line, but at the last minute go running to the cops .... this coud be a great movie.

I'm calling Paramount later.

NEC search for systems, cards, phones, software, manuals and repairs!

And Paramount told you: "We're already in production."

I have a friend that works for KCPL. He used to say that when they abandoned a line, they had to keep it powered up until they tore it out. Otherwise, it'd be gone in a 'New York Minute'

And another friend in the service that said if you had a clipboard with some papers on it, and walked like you were in a hurry and knew where you were going, security checkpoints were a laugh! frown John C.

When I was young, I was Liberal. As I aged and wised up, I became Conservative. Now that I'm old, I have settled on Curmudgeon.
