If you haven't voted, shut down your computer and GO VOTE. Not registered? Picture ID, Birth Certificate, DD214, Tax Return, mail from a government entity, go to the nearest polling place in the county where you live. DO IT NOW, it may take some time. Hundreds of thousands have died so that you can vote. Shame on you for belittling their sacrifice. frown
Pull the 'R' lever (my preference), pull the 'D' lever, vote Libertarian or Independent, if you don't like the other choices. BUT GO VOTE!!!!!

If you don't vote, don't complain to me about what the government does. Are they supposed to be clairvoyant? They go with the majority's wishes, supposedly. GO VOTE John C.

When I was young, I was Liberal. As I aged and wised up, I became Conservative. Now that I'm old, I have settled on Curmudgeon.

I was there at 7:30 this morning. Perfect timing too, the 7am rush was over. In an out in 5 minutes.

The polls opened while I was on my way to work. I'll vote on my way home.

I waited in line for the place to open. Probably 100 people in front of me. It was really pretty quick once it opened up. I also voted both sides of the line. I vote more for the person and less for the party.

90 seconds for me. It took me longer to park the car and get inside than the entire voting process took. They had it very well set up for us. Wow, I'm glad this thing is almost over.

I just found out today that a photo ID or other form of identification is not required in Maryland or DC. Now that's a scary thought.

ok, I posted this in another thread, but it bares repeating.

"I won't have to worry about puttin gas in my car. I won't have to worry about payin my mortgage anymore..."
Actual quote of a recent voter.

This person really believes in the power of her vote.
