Guys, Its been about a year since I messed with a Comdial DSU. The co. I work for purchased a DSU I (8x16) and a Small Office Lite voice mail. I wanted to know is someone could help me with a few questions I have.

1. I cant remember which version of software the DSU needs to see VM intergration. I think we have 20A or 29A on the unit (29 seems to high in my fuzzy memory).

2. I want to get a CID08 unit. Can I have the CID unit and the VM hooked up at the same time? I remember 2 comports on a DSU I, but I remember there are rules as well.

3. Are the Tel Control Inc MLX-82â„¢ Eight Line Device CID boxes the same as the Comdial ones? I remember reading here that it should work.

20a software was the last for the DSU. Your 816 has 2 com ports but you'll have to make them on the block and CID will go to com 2. Can't answer the Tel Control question. CID units are available.
