Hello. I have a customer that has a DXP and a stand alone pc running a VM program. Im pretty sure its Corp Ofiice but not positve. Well my question is, can I remove the Vm card from the back of the old pc and install it on another users pc and have it constantly running in the backround. It looks like all I would need to do is run a 4 pair cable from the Pc to the DXP. The only info I have is a ser # (2128104504).In programming on the main page it has "4 Line Version 8.2" at the bottom. Is this possible? I would appreciate any help. Thanks

if you do a search on this board of comdial and voicemail you will find some very lengthy discussions on the topic of building a new pc to house your VM. I don't think any of them have succeeded. So Rather said it quite adequetly, in a word, no. mark

(sorry about the multiple posts. the darn thing looked like it wasn't going thru!)
Why would you want to do that anyway?
Your customer must not place a very high importance on their VM system to not want it on a dedicated machine.
