I just completed my first MP1000 installation. Everything went fine but one thing. We are having a problem with the system not releasing trunks after after the caller goes on hook. I ordered positive disconnect from Verizon & confirmed today that disconnect is being received. I'm running Ver. 2.08 on the MP1000 (latest) not sure where to go next. Comdial says they haven't heard of this problem & will send a request to engineering--not much help when the customer is going live with the system by end of this week.
Would be glad to hear from anyone who has seen this problem or has successfully installed an MP1000 without having this problem.

Check your ring voltage and make sure it's up to specs. Low voltage can cause the CO ports to hang open. They are also particular about getting 400HZ dialtone for correct operation(not behind some PBXs)

I'll check voltage with my butt set. Have you discovered what voltage level is too low? Also is there a way to measure frequency of dial tone?--never ran into that before.

We had a problem that was a bit different. See my post previous to this one. We put Viking units on to bring ringing voltage up and fixd the problem we had in the short term. Our customer went from Bell CO lines which worked fine to a CLEC w/channel bank with rather low ringing voltage.
