Does anyone out there actually have EP300 phones working properly on an MP5000? We have them on our system with all of the latest software on swith and phones and we can't get lights on any buttons. Had lights but no button features before the upgrade. Comdial says they are being sold successfully but when pressed for dealer referennces, they can't give me any.

I have them working at my office and house. What soft rev are you running?

I just got off Comdial's CCC and found some release notes that explains the cause of the lights not working. Too bad their tech support guys dont have access to this information. We called tech support a number of times and never got an answer to this. I wrote an email to Ann B tech support supervisor, asking why no one could help me with various tech support issues. She had one of her top guys call me back and he said this was a known issue and would be addressed in a later release. Do you think I should forward him a copy of what I found or just leave him in the dark?

You probably talked to Lyndel. He's a good guy but Comdial has been wrapped up for the last 6 weeks with the dealer summit. Not making excuses but techsupport has a couple of key people leave as of late and hasn't had a chance to reestablish the level it should. I too have had to "refresh" a couple of techs memories.... I give a week to get back to normal.

No. This was a tech I had never heard of before. I have his name in my email at work. i think they will get on track soon. It just reminds me of the good old DX80 release where "no other dealers are complaining like you are" was the norm.
