Hey thanks guys that did the trick...now I just have one problem left. The Last thing I am trying to figure out is why a specific line is ringing in the wrong place.
I just checked everything and all the lines in the phone closet are wired correctly but for some reason when someone dials Line 12 (which is supposed to ring on B1) on the phone system, that phone number is ringing on line 7 (which is A14)lets say.
Is there a way to tell the phone system to make the incoming Line 12 ring on Line B1 (line 1) at the stations? Cause now line 7 (A14) does not work, I think because it has two incoming lines going to it.
Thanks again, you guys have been a tramendous help.

Access the system database and assign the line you want to ring on B-1 to button B-1 then assign the ringing for that line to the extensions you want to ring. Do this for each line in the system.
It is not possible on that system to assign 2 lines to one button, that model did not provide for dynamic line keys. If a dialed number rings on a button, that's either the number on the button or the call has been forwarded to the number that is on that button.

Thats what I thought, however I am not quite sure what which option to choose for assigning lines. In the manual it has options for
Flexible Key Assignment Assign Line Appearance Disable Line Appearance Assign DSS Assign Dynamic Line Keys
I have tried Assign Line Apearance by
****** C41, Station#, c39, Choose the line line I want to use B1, then chose System Line I want to be there A13. It wont seem to pull itself off of A14 Though. Am I doing Something wrong?
Thansk again for the assistance.

Programming from a console and overlay requires concentration and the ability to do exactly what the manual says. You also need line/line port and phone type knowledge. That's why I always wired up a 232 connection and used a laptop.

sorry about that Mark I did not realize thats what I was adding to my reply.
The real problem I am having is not with assigning lines to keys it sthat I have one that does seem to want to come off of another one
ok, lets say line 12 is supposed to ring on line B1......right now line 12 is ringing on A10......but so is Line 7 ringing on A10.
I clear of key A10 at line 7 back to is and then add line 12 to B1 but line 12 still rings on A10.
Does that sound like a physical line problem?......what do you guys think

No. It sounds like you need a certified tech. Is this system wide or one phone? If it's one phone you need someone who can program that system at an installer level. If it's all phones, maybe you do have the two lines punched on top of each other somewhere, either way, you need a good tech. Mark
