Hey guys,
I am generally an Avaya guy but, I got a call from a customer and want to help him out. He has a Comdial system and wants to keep the system just disable the voice mail. Can this be done and how?
Thanks for all your help
Dave

What kind of Comdial and what kind of VM?
Does he just want to delete all MBs??
Does he want to change the programming so that no lines are answered by the VM??
Is this during the day or nite too??
Give a bit more detail.
You may need some phone help/support if you have no manuals. As in a Partner---there's a few programs that you'd have to set back to a default otherwise you'll be running into a bit of trouble.

Mark and JW Thanks. Basically just making the CO's not get answered by the voicemail is probably the best way to go. I will get back to you with what type of comdila and voicemail it is.

Right. Just stop that line from ringing to the VM first port, then make the first port of vm busy and make sure the line has not been set to ring all ports at once. Some systems had to do it that way.

Make sure the lines are programmed to ring where you want them to ring then unplug the Key Voice.
