We have an ESI Voiceworks 16 system and I'm trying to identify if it has the Comdial integration card in it.

Does anyone here have a picture or model # or anything that could help me identify whether this system is capable of the Comdial digital integration?

Model number DSU4 for the 4 port. ANL if it's analog.

You can tell pretty easily by seeing how it's connected to the DSU. If it's connected directly to the digital station ports on the DSU, then it's the digital integration. If there is an ATI-D in between, or if it's connected to a 008 expansion module, then it's analog.

Unfortunately I only have the voicemail unit and it's not hooked up to a system currently.

Taking off the cover reveals the hard drive and motherboard, as well as an ESI DSU Card connected to the Motherboard's Port Card 1 Slot by a ribbon cable.

I'm assuming this is the DSU which allows Comdial Integration and it should be 4 port?

OK we've got the Voiceworks 16 up and running as far as I can tell, but we don't have any of the original software for the system.

What's the easiest way for me to check and make sure the voicemail system is working?
