Hi everyone! I have been in so many bids vs pure IP systems lately (and haven't lost to one yet) and I seriously don't see the benefits or a pure IP solution vs the cost OR lack of reliability. I have IP deployed but deployed as part of a network OR remote offices or people who work from home. In house I just don't see it. Has anyone else run into this?

I agree. As a static solution, it doesn't fly. If you have a lot of remote sites, then it could be justified.

I have lost deals to pure IP solutions. However I have yet to receive any positive input from the customer after they implemented these systems. All say the customer support and feature package are less than what they were sold. I just finished a 3 site deal tonight implementing VOIP networking and deinstalling a Plexar network from SBC. Works fine ....lasts a long time.
