I was wondering if there is any way to make a back up of a flash card on the 7271c voicemails. I have one in the office now and want to back it up. Comments will be great.

What I am looking for also is the software(format,vmail85d). I am a dealer but I can't find it on the CCC anymore. My old laptop crashed and I am looking for it. If anyone can help please PM me. Thanks.

That utility is no longer available on the CCC and is not supported by Vert/Com.

VMAIL85D isn't even for the 7271C voicemails...that is for a digital debut....

The second is a question my partner wanted me to ask. Is there a way to make a copy of the flash card in a 7271c voicemail though for a back up?

If you run a search in the voicemail forum you will see this has been discussed at length. Some seem to be able to do it, some can't. Good Luck

Al: Justin (5years&counting) has done quite well at backups for both Debut units as well as the DX-80 / 120 vmails, so check Mark's suggestion and look for Justin's input. Make sure you use the appropriate software. The software you inquired about (vmail85d) is for digital Debuts. Vertical/Comdial distributes winimage files for DX-80/120 flash and hard drive vmails. These (with instructions) can be easily obtained from CCC. I also thought it was odd that you posted on May 23rd asking how to get DX-80 / 120 support if you are not a dealer...but now as you wrote these posts you have since become a dealer? Just wondering...
